Saskatchewan International Team Championship

 NEW: Saturday evening meal and social Smiley's Buffet and event Centre, 702 Circle Drive East. Up to 5 complementary buffet tickets will be given to each registered team.

 Divisions: Teams will be split between Division A, B, and C, based on ratings and player preferences. Teams will play in divisional round robin play in Day 1, and knock-out rounds in Day 2.

 Team Size: Teams be made up of 3 to 4 players, with one player designated as team captain. Players can not represent multiple teams. Team names may be changed by the tournament committee if the name is deemed to be not in good taste.

 Team Match Format: Each team match shall consist of 9 singles matches with 3 players from each team. In the preliminary rounds, all 9 matches will be played. In qualification and playoff rounds, the round will end when a team wins 5 single matches, but all other single matches that are still in-play will be played until completion.

 Preliminary Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie amongst teams, the number of single match wins will serve as the primary tie-breaker. If a tie still exists at this point, head to head results will be used.

 Games and Scoring: All single matches will be played as Best of Five, 11-point games.

 Entries Limitation: After the first 24 team entries are received, the tournament committee reserves the right to place later teams on a waiting list, and/or to alter the format. The final format will be communicated at the Team Captain’s Briefing.

 Rules: International Table Tennis Federation rules shall govern all play.

 Equipment: STTA approved tables and white or orange three-star Butterfly balls.

 Clothing: Non-marking shoes, and sport shirt, shorts, or skirts, of colour different than the ball. Other garments, such as part or all of a track suit, shall not be worn during play except with the permission of the referee.

 Ratings: Latest TTCAN ratings will be used. This will be a 1-Star Tournament for TTCAN Ratings.
